African Black Soap

Raw African Black Soap is handmade in Ghana by local women from the village. It is known as Alata Soap in Ghana and Ose Dudu in Nigeria. Raw Handmade African Black Soap is widely used throughout western Africa and is an excellent emollient for the skin. The key ingredients in Raw Handmade Black Soap are roasted cocoa pods, plantain skins and Palm Oil.

Note: Not recommended for dry or sensitive skin!

All oils are 100% pure and are a product of  the “cold-pressed” extraction method (except for shea & coconut) which preserves the most essential nutrients for the skin. Our shea oil is initially cold-pressed, however, it must later be heated for a time to prevent the oil from returning to it’s solid state. The same is true for our coconut oil (fractionated). Our exotic oils are available in 4 ounce bottles.
